Welcome to my practice.
There are many reasons for seeking therapy. You may be struggling in personal relationships, experiencing career stress, making a major life transition or suffering from anxiety and/or depression. Whatever your concerns, therapy gives you a safe place to discuss the issues and decide on the changes (if any) that you want to make in your life.
I most often work from a psychodynamic perspective. This approach involves exploring your history and how past relationships and experiences inform current behaviors and thoughts about yourself and your situation.
We will work together in an effort to help you gain insight into maladaptive behaviors and gain new skills so that you can change negative thought patterns and hopefully find new ways of managing challenging situations.
